What Fesnova Does
Fesnova publishes independent guides to music festivals — currently Lollapalooza 2026 and Elements Music & Arts Festival 2026 — with editorial guides, set times, a schedule planner, and a profile of every artist on each lineup. Reading the site requires no account and no personal information.
Information You Give Us
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's email address and a stable account identifier, which we store (via Supabase, our authentication and database provider) so your saved favorites, schedules, and “festivals I'm going to” can follow you across devices. That is the only personal information the site collects, and it is used for nothing else — no marketing email, no sharing with third parties. Deleting your account data: email jbrondum@brondumventures.com from the signed-in address and we will remove it.
If you connect a music service in the playlist builder (YouTube or Spotify), the access token that service issues is held in a short-lived, browser-only cookie so we can create the playlist you asked for, and is never written to our database.
Friends
If you sign in, you can add other signed-in users as friends (by their handle or a shareable invite link) and see which festivals they're attending and which artists they've starred on a shared festival. This visibility only ever goes to accounts you've mutually connected with as friends — never to the public or to signed-out visitors. Sharing your own starred artists with friends is on by default and can be turned off from your account page at any time; turning it off stops any friend from seeing your favorites going forward, though it doesn't retroactively notify anyone of what they already saw. Removing a friend connection removes that visibility in both directions immediately.
Live Map & Location
Each festival's map page can optionally show your live position on an interactive venue map, so you can see where you are relative to the stages. This is off by default — your location is only requested after you explicitly tap “Find me on the map,” using your browser's own geolocation permission prompt, and only while that map is open in your browser tab. We do not store, log, or send your location to our own servers; it's read directly by your browser and drawn on the map client- side. The only outside party that sees anything related to a map view is Mapbox, the mapping provider that renders the map tiles themselves — see Mapbox's privacy policy for what it collects when the map is loaded. You can stop sharing your location at any time with the same button, and closing or navigating away from the map page stops it automatically.
Cookies
The site sets first-party cookies only for the optional sign-in session and the short-lived playlist-provider tokens above. Third-party services on the page (advertising, fonts) may set their own cookies as described below.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. These are cookieless and do not build a profile of individual visitors. No personally identifiable information is collected by us through them.
Advertising
The site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.
Ticket Links
Each festival's About page links to its official ticket seller and to secondary-market sellers (Front Gate Tickets, Ticketmaster Verified Exchange, StubHub, SeatGeek, Tixr, Vivid Seats). None of these are paid affiliate links today. If Fesnova is accepted into an affiliate program with one of these vendors in the future, a click-through may earn a commission at no additional cost to you — this page will be updated to say so, and any such relationship would not influence editorial content or artist recommendations.
External Links
Artist pages link to Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube; festival pages link to each festival's official site and ticket vendors. Those third-party sites have their own privacy policies that we do not control.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are reflected on this page with an updated date.
