Elements 2027 Is Already on the Calendar: August 6–8 at Pocono Raceway
Elements didn't wait around. Within days of the last 2 AM set of its 2026 edition, the festival confirmed it returns to Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania on August 6–8, 2027, with early arrival for campers on Thursday, August 5. A loyalty pre-sale — discounted 2027 passes for people who registered their 2026 wristbands — opened August 18, 2026 at 10 AM Eastern. That's the whole announcement so far: dates, place, and a reward for coming back. No lineup, no stage news.
Why the early date announcement matters
Elements is a car-camping festival, and camping festivals front-load their planning burden. Getting to a raceway in the Poconos with a tent, a cooler, and three days of supplies is a logistics project in a way that riding the L to Grant Park is not — so a dates-first announcement a full year out is genuinely useful, not just marketing. It also signals continuity: the same venue and the same early-August slot the festival has kept at the Raceway. If 2026 was your first Elements, 2027 is shaping up to be the same festival in the same place, not a reinvention.
What a loyalty sale is, in practice
The mechanic is simple: register the RFID wristband from this year's festival, and you unlock a window to buy next year's pass below the eventual public price. Festivals run these for two reasons — returning campers are their most reliable buyers, and early cash flow funds the year of production ahead. For attendees the calculus is just as simple: if you already know you're going back, the loyalty window is the cheapest the ticket will ever be. If you missed it, Elements sells through Tixr, and public tiers will follow — lower tiers sell out first and each step up costs more. Our tickets explainer covers how tiered on-sales and resale actually work.
What 2027 is likely built on
Nothing about the 2027 program is announced, so here is the shape of the thing it follows, from the data this site maintains. The 2026 edition ran 105 artists across four elemental stages — Earth, Fire, Water, Air — over three days, with music running from late morning to roughly 2 AM. The bill was almost entirely electronic: bass, house, techno, and dubstep carrying the weight, with headline sets from Excision, Subtronics, Porter Robinson, Charlotte de Witte, Boys Noize, and Cloonee. Sets were long by festival standards — a median of 75 minutes against the 45-minute median we measured at Lollapalooza — and stages ran back-to-back with almost no dead air. (The full comparison lives in our set-length analysis.)
Elements has not said when a 2027 lineup lands. Its 2026 roster came together in phases over the winter and spring, which is typical for camping festivals of this size; expect names well before expect set times, which — as with every festival we cover — tend to arrive in the final days before gates.
The record of 2026, meanwhile
Everything this site built for Elements 2026 stays up as the archive: every set time as played, a profile for each artist on the bill, the day-by-day picks guide, and the first-timer's guideto camping at the Raceway — the piece most worth re-reading before you commit to 2027, because the festival's camping-first rhythm is the thing that surprises people. When the 2027 lineup arrives, a full new section gets built around it, same as this year: verified profiles, searchable lineup, set-time schedule, and the conflict-checking schedule builder.
