Architects' 2025 single "Brain Dead" put House of Protection in front of a lot of new listeners. Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta are the featured guests. By then the duo already had two EPs out on Red Bull Records: Galore in September 2024, executive-produced by former Bring Me the Horizon member Jordan Fish, and Outrun You All in May 2025.
Both came out of Fever 333. Harrison had been in The Chariot before that, and Improta also played drums in Night Verses. Their first show was at the Echo in Los Angeles in October 2024.
A few months later they were in Australia supporting Bad Omens, with Poppy also on the bill. Alternative Press's tour diary has Harrison getting from the stage onto a roof in about 45 seconds. From there they went straight on to open Poppy's North American dates.
