Slomosa call what they do "tundra rock," which also became the title of their second album, released in September 2024. The Bergen band works out of the stoner and desert-rock tradition, big fuzzy grooves and a bit of grunge in the hooks, and Tundra Rock won the Spellemann award for Rock Album of the Year in Norway in April 2025. Their self-titled debut came out in 2020. They've toured North America with Helmet, who are also on this lineup. A live concert film recorded at USF Verftet in Bergen followed in 2025. Their first headlining U.S. tour, the Breaking Ice run in spring 2026, played Columbus's A&R Music Bar on April 30.
