A Turnstile headline bill in 2026 barely looked like a hardcore show on paper. The NEVER ENOUGH TOUR PT. 2 ran from Milwaukee on September 9 to Santa Ana on October 18, and the openers changed city to city: Hatebreed and Cold World in Tampa, Clipse in Queens, Thundercat and Angel Du$t in Pittsburgh, Agnostic Front in Raleigh, Vince Staples in St. Louis and Las Vegas, Pennywise in Ventura. Ohio got a date too, September 16 at Cincinnati's Smale Park with Porches. Wrapped around all that were European festivals (Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Rock en Seine) and both weekends of Austin City Limits.
The mix was deliberate, and the record they put out that August made it obvious. NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS, announced for August 28, reworked the 2025 album with a guest list you would not guess from a band that came up in Baltimore hardcore: Elton John, death metal veterans Dying Fetus, Hayley Williams, Julien Baker, Blood Orange, Faye Webster, Four Tet, A.G. Cook, Floating Points, Panda Bear, Alex G and more. When it was announced, Consequence noted the band hadn't said who appears on which song. The original NEVER ENOUGH had already won them two Grammys in February 2026, Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance for "BIRDS," and Consequence named them its 2025 Band of the Year.
