Long Island has fed hardcore some of its heaviest bands for decades, and Pain of Truth sit squarely at the metallic end of that tradition. After the No Blame... Just Facts EP in 2020, their 2023 debut Not Through Blood was recorded with Weekend Nachos' Andy Nelson and packed with guest vocalists from across the scene, sometimes several on one song. The self-titled follow-up went the other way. Released September 25, 2026 on DAZE and produced by Will Putney, it has no features at all, with "Unforgiven" as the lead single.
