"Hive Mind" showed up in February 2026 as a standalone single, and the guest on it wasn't another hardcore vocalist. It was Denzel Curry. Revolver called it "a great bit of collaborative, concussive fun," and on paper it was an odd pairing. By the end of May it had become a whole tour: a co-headlining run named after the song, opening September 26 at the MegaCorp Pavilion in Newport, Kentucky, and running 25 dates across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, with Superheaven and Boundaries opening.
The rap crossover wasn't the first time Knocked Loose had wandered outside hardcore's fences. The band is from Oldham County, in the Louisville area, and its third album, You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To (2024), carried "Suffocate," a track with Poppy that got the group its first Grammy nomination, for Best Metal Performance. Before that came Laugh Tracks in 2016 and A Different Shade of Blue three years later, which Decibel heard as a band picking up "a lot of finesse and vision" without getting any softer.
The lineup local press listed for that Grammy news was Bryan Garris, Isaac Hale, Nicko Calderon, Kevin Otten and Kevin "Pacsun" Kaine. Sonic Temple has them on Thursday, May 13.
