Turnstile waited four years after Glow On — the 2021 album that turned them from a respected Baltimore hardcore band into a genuine mainstream act, complete with an opening slot on blink-182's tour and three Grammy nominations — before releasing anything new, which is not how bands usually handle momentum like that.
Never Enough, the album they eventually put out in 2025, justified the wait: top 10 in five countries including the US, and five Grammy nominations that made Turnstile the first band ever nominated in the rock, alternative, and metal categories in the same year. They won two of those five, Best Metal Performance for 'Birds' and Best Rock Album, in February 2026.
Formed in Baltimore in 2010 around Brendan Yates, Daniel Fang, Franz Lyons, and Brady Ebert, the band has kept its hometown ties intentionally visible even as the scale of what they're doing has completely outgrown the hardcore scene they came out of.
