Forever Now, released June 26, 2026, is Switchfoot's fourteenth studio album, produced by longtime collaborator Mike Elizondo. "Wake Up, Mr. Crow" came first, in March, then "Absolution" in May. A 38-city Forever Now Tour with Anberlin as special guest followed that fall, starting in Fort Wayne in September, with a homecoming stop at The Sound in San Diego along the way. Singer Jon Foreman and his brother, bassist Tim Foreman, are still the core of it.
The reason most people know them is The Beautiful Letdown, the 2003 record that turned a San Diego band with roots in Christian rock into mainstream alternative radio regulars. They've never fully left either world. Hello Hurricane, from 2009, won the Grammy for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album at the 2011 ceremony, years after Learning to Breathe was nominated in the rock gospel category, and their tour announcements still lead with both the Grammy and the Dove awards. Vice Verses (2011) and Fading West (2014) kept the run going between the big moments. The same announcement puts their worldwide sales above 10 million.
