Chicago Made isn't a band — it's a showcase stage, curated each year by music director Tony 'Chicago' Russell, a professional bassist and touring musical director who's worked behind Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, and Diddy before turning his attention to his hometown's next generation.
The lineup rotates year to year, pulling from Chicago's local scene rather than fielding one fixed act — a Lollapalooza slot built specifically to put homegrown talent in front of a festival audience they wouldn't otherwise reach, sponsored by the city's own Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
