Ella Boh spent nearly a decade as a working songwriter — credits with Selena Gomez, Ari Abdul, and Ben Böhmer among others — before she released a single note under her own name. She started posting cover songs on YouTube back in 2014, and the professional writing career grew out of that well before any solo ambitions did.
'a little bit,' her debut solo single, didn't arrive until March 2025, and the Songwriters Hall of Fame gave her its Abe Olman Scholarship the same year — recognition for a decade of ghostwriting other people's hits arriving right as she started releasing her own.
