Kettama — Evan Campbell — started in the backroom of a since-closed Galway club called Carbon, splitting DJ duties there at 17 with Shampain, the friend he still runs a label with today.

'B.O.D.Y,' the standout off his 2018 debut EP Bucklyn Bridge, is the track that actually got him out of Galway: house DJ Mall Grab played it, which led to a Dublin debut and a peak-time slot at Life Festival within the same year.

He's based in London now, and G-Town Records, the label he co-runs with Shampain, has become as much a part of his footprint as his own productions — Archangel, his 2025 debut album, arrived on Steel City Dance Discs, a proper full-length seven years into a career that started as two teenagers in a small-town backroom.
