Rick Ross already has a Morgan Wallen credit. Wallen previewed a new version of "Miami," his Keith Whitley flip from I'm the Problem, at his Miami shows in July 2025 and released it on July 25 with verses from Lil Wayne and Ross. That was a year before Ross spent the summer of 2026 on the Port of Miami 20th Anniversary Tour, a black-tie show with the Renaissance Orchestra and the Sainted Trap Choir that opened in Miami on May 29 and ran 17 cities to Charlotte on August 29.

Port of Miami itself came out on Def Jam on August 8, 2006, and opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with about 187,000 copies, carried by "Hustlin'" and production from Cool & Dre, DJ Khaled and Akon. He's from Carol City and later built his own label, Maybach Music Group. Set in Stone, released July 17, 2026, through Maybach and the distributor gamma, is his first solo album since 2021's Richer Than I Ever Been, 19 tracks with T.I., Kodak Black, BigXthaPlug, The-Dream, Leon Thomas and Yung Miami among the guests. He told Miami radio he'd stepped back to "let the rap game breathe."
