Sunday's booking isn't CKY's first time on a Danny Wimmer bill. The band's 25th-anniversary run in 2024 took in Louder Than Life in Louisville and Aftershock in Sacramento on the way. They came out of West Chester, Pennsylvania, in 1999 with "96 Quite Bitter Beings," and appearances on Jackass helped, since drummer Jess Margera is Bam Margera's older brother. Infiltrate-Destroy-Rebuild (2002) was the major-label step, An Answer Can Be Found reached No. 35 on the Billboard 200 in 2005, and The Phoenix came in 2017, after original singer-guitarist Deron Miller had left; Margera and guitarist-vocalist Chad I Ginsburg carry the band now. The long-promised album New Reason to Dream still hadn't surfaced by August 2026, when they released "Beware of the Heartless," featuring a solo the late Brent Hinds of Mastodon had recorded for it.
