Point North timed "2 LITER SPITE," pitched as a return to their punk roots, to land in July 2025 just ahead of their Vans Warped Tour set in Long Beach, and they've spent years on support bills built for that kind of energy, from A Day To Remember's Re-Entry Tour with Asking Alexandria to a run under Sleeping With Sirens. Singer Jon Lundin and guitarist Andy Hershey have played as Point North since 2017, though the first version of the band all but died after an early album went nowhere. A throwaway 2018 cover of nothing, nowhere.'s "Hammer" revived it, and the Hopeless Records debut Brand New Vision followed in 2020. The later Prepare for Despair carried "Safe and Sound" with The Ghost Inside, and Lundin has become a go-to collaborator, writing with Set It Off and trading features with Ray Volpe and Comastatic.
