NME's review of President's first London headline show at The Garage described "a cultlike atmosphere": the masked singer sweating through his mask at a glowing red lectern while the crowd roared from the first minute. That was after the band's live debut at Download in the summer of 2025. The members' stage names have since come out, but the band says it is "never going to discuss or acknowledge" who they are, and it hasn't.
The music came out in pieces. "In the Name of the Father" arrived in May 2025, then the King of Terrors EP that September. The debut album, Blood of Your Empire, followed on September 4, 2026 through Atlantic, ten tracks about belief, mortality and faith, with "DOOM LOOP" and "dark heaven" among the singles. Billboard's U.K. chart report had it entering at No. 5. A UK and European headline tour followed in November 2026, including London's O2 Academy Brixton.
