The Holy Shit Show is the name Holy Priest gives his own events, and the brief behind it is minimal distance and maximum chaos. He plays in costume and a mask, which he has said gives the project "a certain level of mystery," and his identity still isn't public.
The crowd has picked up the costume too. Fans call themselves the Holy Clan, and some turn up dressed like him, masked, a few with his name tattooed on them.
Behind the mask is a German producer. Around his Codex release "Rave Penetrator," which set out to put nineties rave sounds into a modern frame, he was working out of Sick & Sound Studios in Oberhausen, describing his sound as "hard, driving and meaningful" and his name as a fit for "the dark and holy sounds" he was after. The numbers came later: his remix of "Vielleicht Vielleicht" passed 83 million Spotify streams and "No Balance," with Manji, passed 28 million. In between came hard techno takes on Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise" and Nico Moreno and Warface's "2 Be High," and tracks with Krowdexx, Lil Texas, and elMefti, another name on this lineup. He also runs his own label, FXCK.
He has played Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Ultra Miami and EDC Mexico. In May 2026 he was on Basscon and Unreal Germany's wasteLAND stage at EDC Las Vegas, two weeks before playing the Tesla Main Stage at Croatia's Sea Star Festival.
