Ubbi vs. Dubbi: 23 to 13, With Four in Between
Twenty-three acts land on the Ubbi side (house, tech house, bass house, electro house, techno, hard techno) and 13 on the Dubbi side (dubstep, bass, melodic bass, drum & bass). Four fit neither: two dance-pop acts and two Latin ones. The last two are acts whose identities the festival hasn't pinned down yet; we'll file them once it does. The blurred mystery slot isn't counted.
The count hides a tier split. Dubbi acts fill 8 of the 13 major-tier slots; Ubbi acts fill 18 of the 24 undercard slots. Bass fans get the familiar names, house and techno fans get the digging. In 2026 the halves had their own rooms: Dubbi's Stage carried the bass bookings and the indoor Zoom Room took house and techno, with headliners on the main Ubbi's Stage. The 2027 stage plan isn't out.
The Ubbi Side: House and Techno (23)
House (12)
House is the biggest tag on the bill. MK learned the studio under Kevin Saunderson in Detroit, and his remix of Nightcrawlers' "Push the Feeling On" is a club standard, yet his first UK No. 1, "Dior," only came in 2025. ACRAZE flipped Cherish into "Do It To It," iHeartRadio's 2022 Dance Song of the Year, and his April 2026 single leans toward tech house.
The other ten are undercard, in clear lanes. Vocal and crossover: Kaleena Zanders, a singer who traces her "big diva vocals" to Robin S. and Sonique; Jay Pryor, who co-produced Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki's "Just Hold On"; and Josh Fawaz, whose deep-house cover of Madonna's "Like a Prayer" topped Australia's national radio airplay chart in 2026. Stutter house and garage: LAVERN, the Dutch producer behind "Hold Me"; Nate Band, whose self-released 138 BPM "Drugs I Like" broke him in 2025; and Rad Cat, a San Diego convert from future bass. ecchi.mp4 has two tracks past 13 million Spotify plays and a far lower profile than that suggests.
Two of the house acts are tied to the dance-pop trio ŁASZEWO. Distant Matter, the Toronto multi-instrumentalist, toured with them in 2024. Nic Vans, the Love Island USA Season 7 runner-up, made his first release a remix of their "3AM." Season 8 winner Bryce Alakai was DJing before the villa and followed the win with a tech house remix of "Blasé."
Tech House (2)
Jackie Hollander gave John Summit's Experts Only label its first solo female single, "High On You," in May 2026. JUOS b2b ROMMII pairs two Southern California Latino house producers: Juos, who folds Latin elements into tech house, and ROMMII, who played Ubbi Dubbi in 2024.
Bass House (1)
Bass house straddles the line; we file it Ubbi because it runs on a house groove. Miami's Bradeazy spent 2026 on a club rebuild of Crazy Town's "Butterfly" and "To The Front" with Afrojack.
Electro House (1)
Steve Aoki is the only electro house act here, and he arrives on an anniversary: Dim Mak, the label he started in his UC Santa Barbara dorm room in 1996, turned 30 in 2026.
Techno (2)
Lilly Palmer is the straightest techno booking: Spannung Records founder, a 2022 BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, DJ Mag's cover in January 2026. Toronto's Zorza works the younger hyper-techno corner: hard kicks and trance leads under pop and hyperpop vocals.
Hard Techno (5)
Hard techno outnumbers plain techno five to two, and these acts know each other. Holy Priest, a masked German producer whose identity still isn't public, has a "Vielleicht Vielleicht" remix past 83 million Spotify streams. elMefti, a Syrian-born, Germany-based producer, shares much of his catalog with him. Panteros666 b2b Pawlowski pulls '90s rave into it from northern France, Pawlowski with acid lines, Panteros666 with trance melodies and Eurodance edits (and a track with Zorza). Mariana BO, a classically trained violinist from Culiacán, plays live violin over hard techno and placed No. 91 in DJ Mag's 2025 Top 100. Tuscany's Luca Agnelli is the veteran, an Etruria Beat label boss since 2010 who once remixed Moby's "Porcelain" for Drumcode.
The Dubbi Side: Dubstep and Bass (13)
Dubstep (8)
Dubstep holds four of the Dubbi side's majors, and two of them are linked. Flux Pavilion co-founded Circus Records with Doctor P in 2009, and his "I Can't Stop" was sampled by Jay-Z and Kanye West. Jessica Audiffred names him as one of the producers who pulled her into dubstep, back when Mexico City clubs could throw you out for playing anything heavier than tech house. She now runs her own bass festival there, Mad House. WANKDAT, the Crankdat b2b Wooli alias, headlined Ultra Miami's Worldwide Stage in March 2026. Sullivan King brings an electric guitar and metal screams into his sets, and in 2024 he opened Avenged Sevenfold's North American arena tour.
The dubstep undercard has a clear Southern thread. Flozone b2b STVSH pairs a dirty-south Florida producer with an Atlanta one, already billed back-to-back in Atlanta on Halloween 2026. Atlanta also gives us Zen Selekta, whose world-music-flavored low end reached Zeds Dead's Deadbeats label in 2026. beastboi. comes up from Greensboro, North Carolina, through Buygore, Disciple Round Table and Monstercat. Then there's Richard Finger, two anonymous producers presenting as a finger, whose first-ever show opened for Tape B at Red Rocks in 2025.
Bass (2)
NGHTMRE was on the first Ubbi Dubbi bill in 2019, and he co-founded the Gud Vibrations label with SLANDER. TVBOO is a former metal drummer from Jackson, Mississippi, who decided heavy dubstep was metal in electronic form, and whose music is wonky and joke-laced on purpose.
Melodic Bass (2)
ILLENIUM is the only Dubbi-side headliner. He debuted "Good Things Fall Apart" at the first edition in 2019 and returned in 2021. Adventure Club made their name with a "Crave You" remix in early-2010s dubstep, played here in 2021, 2023 and 2025, and have one of the four billed sunset sets. Sullivan King, who cut "You Can't Break Me" with them, has another.
Drum & Bass (1)
Dimension is the lone drum & bass act, back after 2025, and the clearest case of an act crossing the halves: "Frequency," his October 2026 track with Eli Brown, splices techno into drum & bass.
In Between: Dance-Pop and Latin (4)
Dance-Pop (2)
Galantis played the 2019 and 2024 editions; the project is now Christian Karlsson, who as Bloodshy co-produced Britney Spears' "Toxic." ŁASZEWO, the Santa Barbara trio behind "messy," sit nearer to indie pop than to the main stage, and have a sunset set.
Latin (2)
This is the most specific pairing on the poster. Deorro's April 2026 album, BOTAS & RAVE, pushes cumbia, banda, quebradita and tribal up to rave tempo. Among its guests is 3BALLMTY, the Monterrey tribal guarachero trio whose "Inténtalo" topped Billboard's Latin chart in 2012. They have a sunset set of their own. Neither act fits the split, and that seems to be the point.
Ubbi Dubbi hasn't published a day split, stage assignments or set times for 2027. We'll add them to the schedule and set times pages when the festival posts them.
The Bottom Line
By count, Ubbi Dubbi 2027 leans Ubbi; through the middle of the bill, it leans Dubbi, and none of the four sunset sets goes to a house or techno act. If you came up on dubstep, the major tier is a reunion. If you want something new, look at the house and hard techno undercard.
