A tech house remix of Ty Dolla $ign and Future's "Blasé," released in late July 2026, was what first presented Bryce Alakai as something other than a reality-TV winner; it came out after he and Trinity Tatum won the eighth season of Love Island USA. He'd been DJing well before the villa, with a residency at Mesa, and releasing music since 2022, including "Lose My Mind" on Get The Sound and "Change Me." His own description of the sound: high-energy house and UK garage run through melodic, emotional production.

His first North American DJ tour started in Los Angeles on Aug. 22 and runs through December, with New York (GQ caught him backstage at Webster Hall in September), Boston, Toronto, Tampa, Seattle and Portland on the route. His own bio lists shared bills with John Summit, Carlita, Don Toliver and Bradeazy, who's on this lineup as well.
