Rad Cat is Christian Ariza, a Mexican American from San Diego, and he's changed lanes more than once. He started on guitar as a teenager, moved into production, and got pulled into blackbear's Beartrap collective after blackbear heard his remix of "IDFC"; production and remix credits with Enrique Iglesias, Kevin Gates, Mike Posner and T-Pain followed. In his future bass years "Alright" hit No. 1 on HypeM, Nintendo used "All Good" in a 2020 Switch Lite commercial, "Diamond" with Gloria Kim came out on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak in 2021, and Billboard put him on a September 2021 list of Latin electronic producers to watch.
The sound now is house and garage. UFO Network called "Lose Control," an August 2025 single on NIGHTMODE, a high-impact bass house track, and his management credits him with an RIAA Gold certification. His track "Reason" became a Counter-Strike 2 music kit in 2024, and he's toured with Knock2 on the ROOM202 run. On Spotify, "leave it all behind" and "miserable all the time" each sit near 5 million plays, under a bio that reads "the soundtrack to ur bad decisions !"
