There's a lane in festival dance music that sits nearer to indie pop than to the main stage, vocal-first and built on synth chords more than drops, and Łaszewo have built a serious audience in it. The name is pronounced "La-zay-woah," though their Spotify bio admits they don't know how to say it either. The Santa Barbara trio, producers Matt Ehrlich and Justin De La Fuente with singer Keeva Bouley, hit their stride with the 2020 debut EP Us In Motion; "messy" has since passed 113 million Spotify plays, and "3am" is near 46 million.
The biggest name they've worked with is A$AP Rocky. "HIGHJACK (right back)," made with Alok and released in May 2025, flips Rocky's "HIGHJACK" into a dance track and has passed 60 million plays. At Ubbi Dubbi they're billed for a sunset set, and the touring around it has scaled up: Rhythm & Vines in New Zealand and Field Day in Sydney over New Year's, then two nights at the Hollywood Palladium in January.
