Kattana built her reputation as a DJ first, playing some of Montreal's biggest venues before she'd released a single original track — her actual production debut didn't arrive until February 2025.
She calls herself a "producer and storyteller" rather than just a DJ, and her sets mix dubstep, drum and bass, and hard techno with unreleased material of her own; releases on Kannibalen Records, Beat Intelligence Network, and GRL GNG mark the fast production side catching up to the DJ career that came first.
