The reunion actually started in 2019, three tracks deep into Kanye West's Jesus Is King, when Pusha T and his brother Malice — performing together as Clipse for the first time in years on 'Use This Gospel' — proved there was still chemistry left after a decade apart. Malice had spent that decade rebuilding himself as a man of faith and largely leaving the coke-rap persona behind; Pusha had built a real solo career out of necessity. Neither seemed like a sure bet to come back.
They did, eventually, with Let God Sort Em Out, released in 2025 — Clipse's fourth album and first in fifteen years, following Lord Willin', Hell Hath No Fury, and Til the Casket Drops, the run of records that made 'Grindin'' and their whole Virginia Beach coke-rap sound a genuine hip-hop reference point in the 2000s. Reception was mostly strong, though not universal; NME called it a comeback that "lacks bite," which the tour that followed did plenty to argue against.
That 2025 run only hit seven shows across four countries, opened by EARTHGANG — eighteen different songs rotated through the set, with 'Ace Trumpets' the most frequently played, turning up at three of the seven nights.
