Dombresky started as a hip-hop DJ in Montpellier, France, building a fanbase through a four-night-a-week club residency he landed during his first university semester, before deciding house music was the actual direction he wanted.

DJ Snake and Tchami both took notice, and Tchami's Confession label signed him — the reason Quentin Dombres relocated to the US and arrived in Miami in 2016 as an unknown.

'Soul Sacrifice,' a jazz-tinged, hypnotic track, has passed 50 million streams on its own, part of a catalog that's now cleared 100 million total and includes remixes for Taylor Swift and Foster The People. Process Records, the label he runs alongside his own production work, keeps his masters in his own hands and gives him a platform to mentor newer artists the way Tchami once did for him.
