The Creekers come out of Leslie County in eastern Kentucky, and the six members — Tanner Horton, Allen Hacker, Jagger Bowling, Ashton Bowling, Scott Sutton, and Anna Blanton — took their name from the small creeks and hollers of the place they grew up rather than anything more marketable.
Pour Me In The Creek, their 2024 debut album, laid out the band's actual instrumentation up front: banjo, fiddle, and cajon alongside guitars, a lineup built for real bluegrass rather than a country band borrowing its textures.
"Tennessee," off the River Rat EP released on Warner Music Nashville in April 2025, is the song that broke through — it held a spot in Spotify's Viral 50-USA top five for multiple weeks that summer, its banjo riff and fiddle harmonies giving way to a full-band sound that leans as much on tradition as on any pop instinct.
