3OH!3 is two people, Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte. Both grew up in Boulder and met in a physics class at the University of Colorado. The name is the local area code.
They put out a self-titled album on their own in 2007. Want came out on Photo Finish Records in July 2008, and that summer they played the Warped Tour's Denver stop and got added to the rest of the run. "Don't Trust Me," from Want, reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold more than three million digital copies in the U.S., according to the Colorado Music Experience.
Ke$ha sang on their "My First Kiss," and they turned up on her "Blah Blah Blah." Katy Perry sang on the radio remix of "Starstrukk." Streets of Gold followed in 2010 and Omens in 2013, with Night Sports and Need after that.
"SLUSHIE," released in July 2025, was their first new single in five years, and "HIT ME HARDER" came next. They played all three of Warped Tour's 30th-anniversary dates, toured the U.S. with Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup and LOLO, and sold out an Anaheim House of Blues show for Streets of Gold's 15th anniversary. On March 3, 2026 they headlined the Boulder Theater for 303 Day, a hometown show they put on every year.
