Rap verses over downtuned guitars still pull big crowds on the Danny Wimmer Presents circuit, and Hollywood Undead have spent close to two decades proving it. In 2025 they played Sonic Temple and spent late summer supporting Falling In Reverse on the God Is a Weapon tour through arenas and amphitheaters.
The band goes back to Los Angeles in 2005 and to Swan Songs, the 2008 debut that their label materials list as RIAA platinum. The current five, Johnny 3 Tears, J-Dog, Charlie Scene, Funny Man and Danny, still pass vocal duties around the way they always have.
Since moving to Sumerian Records they've mostly worked in singles. "Hollywood Forever" arrived in October 2024 and "SAVIOR" in June 2025. In March 2026 came "1x1," built on a slowed-down sample of the riff from Slayer's "Raining Blood" and produced by Matt Good, with "All My Friends" featuring Jeris Johnson and "Feels Like Home" after it. By the band's own account, their 2026 summer took in Rock am Ring, Graspop and a long European festival run, plus Ohio's Inkcarceration in July.
None of those songs are the next album, though. Talking to Rock Sound at Download in June 2026, Johnny 3 Tears said a new record should come out at the beginning of 2027 and that the recent releases were standalone singles that won't appear on it.
