King 810 come from Flint, Michigan, and since 2019 they've done nearly everything themselves. Suicide King, their third album, arrived that January as a self-release sold through the band's own store, made by David Gunn and bassist Eugene Gill, the only two left from the earlier lineup at that point. AK Concerto No. 47, 11th Movement in G Major followed in November 2020, then the Follow My Tears EP in 2023, released on their own King Nation imprint.
In 2024 they went further and announced under the black rainbow, an episodic film series with a soundtrack, which Gunn, Gill and their circle funded, wrote, directed, shot, acted in, edited and distributed without outside help. The newest album, La Grande Mort or Silence of God, is due November 27, 2026, pitched as the spiritual successor to 2016's La Petite Mort or a Conversation with God, with "I Know You Heard Of Me" out first.
