Silly Goose has played Sonic Temple before. The festival posted footage of the Atlanta band's 2025 set, and they come back in 2027 with a lot more behind them. Frontman Jackson Foster started the band in high school because he wanted his own generation, most of them born after nu-metal's peak, to hear the music he loved. He traces it back to discovering Rage Against the Machine around sixth grade and then moving on to Limp Bizkit. Early on they played parking-lot pop-up shows around Atlanta.

Their second album, Keys to the City, out in 2025, gets heavier and darker than the party songs they'd built a name on. Foster told Rock Sound there was "a lot more screaming and singing this time around." In late 2025 they played their first UK shows supporting Hot Milk, who are also on this lineup, and in fall 2026 they went out on their first North American headline tour. Along the way they opened the Aftershock bill in Sacramento at 11:30 in the morning on a day Limp Bizkit headlined.
