When A Day To Remember came through Columbus in October 2013, Ohio State's student paper The Lantern reported rolls of toilet paper flying across the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion, beach balls and balloons over the crowd, Santa and an elf firing a giant T-shirt gun, and Jeremy McKinnon climbing into an inflatable walking ball to roll across the audience. "I trust you Ohio, don't let me die!" he told them. That was the sold-out House Party Tour, staged in a set built to look like a house with an open garage and a balcony the band could climb up to, and McKinnon spent part of the night wearing a rain poncho somebody threw at him.
They're from Ocala, Florida, and the music still sits between pop-punk hooks and metalcore weight. Big Ole Album Vol. 1 arrived without warning on February 18, 2025. In a March 2026 Kerrang! interview McKinnon said Vol. 2 was well along but not done: "It's not supposed to just be Vol. 1 B-sides, we want it to feel like its own thing." He added that they could now react to what fans liked about the first one, which he called a place they'd never been. Their 2026 ran through Download in England, a stadium show at Los Angeles' BMO Stadium with Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte, and Aftershock in Sacramento.
