Restoring Force debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in 2014, the high-water mark for Of Mice & Men's first era. It was also the first album with Aaron Pauley in the band, on bass and clean vocals next to Austin Carlile's screams.
Carlile left at the end of 2016 citing a long-term health condition, and instead of hunting for a replacement, the band handed Pauley the microphone outright.
That version has now outlasted the original. Another Miracle, released in November 2025, is their ninth album, seventeen years into the band by drummer Valentino Arteaga's count, and their first for Century Media after 2023's Tether on SharpTone. Pauley calls the records "yearbooks of our life," since the band starts writing the next one as soon as the last is finished. They took that catalog around the 2026 Warped Tour.
