Red marked End of Silence's 20th anniversary in 2026 with a tour that stopped at Columbus's King of Clubs on May 23. That tour was also the end of an era. Longtime singer Michael Barnes played his final show with the band on June 5, 2026, in Dallas, and co-founders Randy and Anthony Armstrong brought in AJ Reingardt of OHKAYA to fill in on vocals for the rest of the year's dates. End of Silence, the 2006 debut the tour celebrated, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album and is still the record that made their name, with "Breathe Into Me" as its first single.
