In June 2026, Gretchen Wilson put out a new duet version of "Here for the Party" with Ella Langley. It's the first single from a re-recorded version of her 2004 debut album, with a different guest on each track, and every song from the original makes it except "Pocahontas Proud," which she's said is too personal to share. She and Langley first sang it together at Langley's sold-out Ryman show the previous November; Langley says she's played the song at every show of her life. It came out on Wilson's own Redneck Records, in partnership with Thirty Tigers.

The original record is why any of that matters. Here for the Party sold more than five million copies, and "Redneck Woman," which she wrote with John Rich, spent six weeks at No. 1. A Grammy followed. Wilson grew up in Pocahontas, Illinois, was bartending at 14 alongside her mother, and by 15 was running a bar outside town and singing for its customers. She got to Nashville in 1996, kept tending bar in Printers' Alley, and ended up in the Muzik Mafia after Big & Rich found her there. In 2024, the album's 20th anniversary, she was back on the road with them.
