Texas dancehall country has picked up an unlikely regular: a working cowboy from the Queensland outback. Wade Forster was born and raised on a cattle station there, still works it, and rode as a professional rodeo cowboy before the music took over.

He didn't start playing until 2017, teaching himself on a $50 guitar he bought off Facebook Marketplace. His debut album, The Beginning, came out in 2022, and Gooseneck Party followed in 2025.

At home, the breakthrough came at Tamworth in January 2026, when he took both New Talent of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at the Golden Guitar Awards. In the U.S. it came through Texas: a 15-show first headline run in September 2025, the It's Time for Texas Tour, arena support dates with Treaty Oak Revival, and a duet with that band, "Can of Worms."

"Anytime, Anywhere, Antoinette" has passed 20 million streams and more than 165 million TikTok views. It's on The Aftermath, his third album, released August 14, 2026; the tour behind it sold out, and on September 30 he made his Grand Ole Opry debut.
