Gabrielle Mirabile started DJing in bars around Towson, Maryland, after a bar owner suggested she give it a shot — a random suggestion that turned into an entire genre she'd go on to build almost from scratch.
She took the name Zingara, Italian for "gypsy," from her aunt, a medium, and has described her own lifelong connection to the spirit world as directly shaping the music: an original subgenre she and her fans call "astral trap," inspired by CloZee, LSDREAM, and Liquid Stranger but distinct from any of them.
"Astra," her viral single, caught LSDREAM's attention specifically — he started working it into his own sets — and Mind & Body, her first EP, extends that same spiritual framing across a full project rather than one song, a genuinely personal cosmology built into dance music most people expect to be about nothing but the drop.
