Adéla Jergová trained as a ballerina from age three, first in Moscow, then at the Vienna State Ballet and the English National Ballet School after moving away from Slovakia at 15 — a classical dance background that's an unusual runway into pop music.
She competed on the 2023 reality show Dream Academy, the competition that led to the formation of the group Katseye, before going a different direction with her own solo career instead.
Her debut single, 'Homewrecked,' released independently in 2024, caught enough attention to land her a Capitol Records deal the following year, and The Provocateur, her major-label debut EP, leans into bold, club-ready pop and electronic production — the kind of assertive persona that's gotten her compared, probably prematurely, to Madonna.
