Bad Nerves spent years playing to crowds of five people in venues nobody remembers the names of, a self-released 2020 debut already catching the attention of Billie Joe Armstrong and Stone Gossard without translating into an actual audience yet.

2023 turned into their actual breakthrough — support slots for The Struts, a full US tour with Royal Blood, dates with The Darkness and Nothing But Thieves.

Still Nervous, their 2024 second album on Lowly Records, is built on the same fast, hook-heavy garage-punk that made those early Ramones and Strokes comparisons obvious — a band that finally caught up to the praise it had been getting for years.
