Destin Conrad's first audience was on Vine — he posted his first one in 2014, grew past a million followers, and met Kehlani there before either of them had a real music career, a connection that later turned into actual songwriting credits on her albums.

He didn't release his own original music until 2019's 'Cautious,' several years after Vine had already made him recognizable, followed by COLORWAY in 2021, Satin in 2022, and Submissive in 2023.

Love on Digital, his 2025 debut album, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album for its frank look at Black queer love and romance conducted through screens, and wHIMSY, the jazz-inflected follow-up, showed a different side of the same voice — raised in Tampa by a single Jamaican-born mother, now one of R&B's more quietly ambitious current songwriters.
