Frost Children is siblings Angel and Lulu Prost, who grew up in St. Louis feeling like they didn't fit anywhere and retreated into the internet and pop culture instead — before teaming up, Lulu played in a Beatles cover band called the Termites that performed for parents in parking lots, while Angel sang Scott Pilgrim soundtrack songs in a group called Permafrost.
Since forming in 2019 and relocating to New York, they've built a sound that splices EDM, hyperpop, Jersey club, punk, and bloghouse into something genuinely overclocked, pulling as much from Ween and Skrillex as from the Japanese trip-hop band Cornelius — a chaotic, maximalist project that grew directly out of two kids who felt like outsiders building their own scene instead.
