Corey Kent spent summer 2025 opening stadiums on Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem Tour, including both NRG Stadium nights in Houston and both Gillette Stadium nights in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Not bad for someone whose early Nashville years went badly enough that, just before the pandemic, he lost his publishing deal, moved his family to Frisco, Texas, and went to work for a paving company.
"Wild as Her" turned that around. It reached No. 1 at country radio and is certified triple platinum by the RIAA, and "This Heart" followed it to No. 1 in 2025. His third major-label album, Heartland Rock and Roll, came out on Sony on September 25, 2026, produced largely by Austin Goodloe. Jason Aldean sings on "Rather Be Here," Koe Wetzel on the single "Rocky Mountain Low," and the longest song, nearly seven minutes, is named for Bixby, the Oklahoma town where he was born.
