On September 30, 2026, Kameron Marlowe played on a rooftop above Nashville's Broadway under a 22-foot banner announcing a self-titled album due January 22, 2027, which he co-produced with Austin Goodloe and which is being billed as a statement of redemption and rebirth. He was in the middle of the second leg of Ella Langley's Dandelion Tour at the time, which flips how they met: at a 2021 show in Huntsville, Alabama, she was his opener. In January 2024 they released a duet, "Strangers." Marlowe is from Kannapolis, North Carolina, and was working in a car dealership's parts department when he made the top 24 on NBC's The Voice in 2018. "Giving You Up," which he wrote himself, got him to Nashville, and his records on Columbia Nashville run We Were Cowboys (2022), Keepin' the Lights On (2024) and Sad Songs for the Soul (2025).
