I'm What You Get, Zach John King's debut album, came out on Sony Music Nashville on August 28, 2026: 20 songs co-produced with Ryan Wilson, picked from a much bigger pile he'd written, with fiddle and banjo pulling toward his bluegrass roots and some indie-rock touches elsewhere. Brooks & Dunn sing on "Way To Go," which he hadn't written as a duet. He grew up on them, got to know them over coffee at an office in December and then on the Morgan Wallen tour, and opened a show for the duo in Nevada. Brent Cobb turns up on "Choppin' Wood" and Bayker Blankenship on "Life Behind Bars," and Rhett Akins and Rodney Clawson are among the co-writers. He was raised in Fayetteville, Georgia, and moved to Nashville in 2021. "Wannabe Cowboy" got him noticed in 2024, the Slow Down EP came in 2025, and "Get To Drinkin'" became the radio song, climbing into country radio's top 20 by late summer 2026. "How To Not," about his late father, was written and recorded before his father died; afterward his team put it out in place of a planned love song, and it became his biggest first-week streaming debut. The album ends on "What I'm Giving Up," which asks whether what he's chasing is worth what it costs; he wanted to close on a question. His Get To Drinkin' Tour started October 1 in Indianapolis.
