Ninajirachi's stage name is literally her first name fused with her favorite Pokémon, which is about as unpretentious an origin story as electronic music gets for someone who'd go on to help define Australia's hyperpop scene.

Nina Wilson taught herself production entirely, breaking through as a Triple J Unearthed High finalist in 2016 and 2017 while still on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

I Love My Computer, her 2025 debut album released through Nina Las Vegas's own label, pulled in eight ARIA nominations — the most of any artist that year — and won Best Solo Artist, Breakthrough Artist, and Best Independent Release, drawing on Mura Masa, Flume, and SOPHIE without sounding like a tribute act to any of them.
