Jason Scott & The High Heat's own press materials count Morgan Wallen, Wyatt Flores and 49 Winchester among the acts they've shared stages with, and Play Boy, the September 2026 album they've been touring behind, rarely slows down long enough to catch its breath: 14 songs in 44 minutes, dressed up with 1950s cartoon gunshots and other sound effects. Country Central gave it a 7.1 and called it more of a "proof of concept" than a new direction. It followed American Grin and the single "Too Good, Too Bad," which the same press materials say went viral, though "High Country" is still their most-streamed song on Spotify, at around 8 million plays.
