Level Up spent four years as a turntablist before she ever thought about producing, and a background in theatre acting before that — storytelling chops that show up directly in tracks built as much around mood and tension as raw low end.

Rusko, Caspa, and Skream pulled her toward dubstep, but it was Porter Robinson's ability to make electronic music feel genuinely emotional that pushed her into production specifically; she released across Deadbeats, GRVDNCR, and Buygore before her 2023 Monstercat debut, "Ruin U," with GG Magree.

She'd already toured nationally on the Cyclops Invasion Tour and played more than 30 drive-in shows alongside Subtronics, Boogie T, and HE$H during 2020's shutdown-era touring workaround, landing a spot on Cyclops Recordings' first Boot Camp compilation alongside Al Ross and Leotrix — a producer whose live résumé actually predates most of her own catalog.
