Will Clarke took a DJ academy course in Bristol at 13 and had an Ibiza residency by 17, a fast enough runway that by the time most people his age were finishing school, he already had 100 million streams and festival bookings behind him. “Mercy,” in 2018, marked a real turn — deeper, more emotional peak-hour techno than the club tracks that had built his name.

All We Have Is Now, the label he launched in 2019, became the home for that more emotionally-driven material, and “WHAT?!,” his Black Book Records debut, showed he could still deliver a straightforward tech-house weapon when the moment called for it. He's a Grammy-nominated songwriter now too, splitting his identity between Bristol's house-and-techno roots and Detroit, his adopted home.
