Max Styler signed to Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records on his 18th birthday, having already been producing and DJing through high school in San Luis Obispo — a fast professional start for someone who'd started on guitar as a kid, not electronic music.
Heartache, his 2016 debut album, established the dark, hybrid house sound he's built on since, and Body High, his 2020 follow-up, leaned further into club-ready, heavier grooves.
In 2025 he founded his own label, Nu Moda Records, launching it with the single 'You & Me.' He's since played EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Bonnaroo, a decade-plus into a career that started with a teenage Dim Mak signing.
