Westend at Elements is the same Tyler Morris already known for reshaping tech house's sound out of New York — attended the Bronx High School of Science, built the Kick & Bass name as a mentorship community during the pandemic, and has kept growing it since.
In December 2025, he and longtime partner Freddy Trier Christensen turned that community into an actual label, Kick & Bass Records — a formalized next step for a mentorship project that started as a way of giving back rather than a business plan.
